Asoka Fujinkai

WLABT Asoka Fujinkai was organized in October 1962, through the concerted efforts of Rev. and Mrs. Bunyu Fujimura and Shohei Iwamoto, for the benefit of married women from Japan residing in the local area. Asoka Fujinkai’s monthly meetings are enhanced by religious and educational messages.

From the archives: 1965 Asoka Fujinkai

Some of the yearly activities of Asoka Fujinkai include cooking won-ton and chicken wings for the Obon Festival booth, family gatherings, and cooking lessons and demonstrations. They sponsor the Hatsumairi Service held in conjunction with Hanamatsuri Service.
